Terms of Service

1. Agreement and permitted users

By creating an account or using Talerivo, you agree to these terms. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement and use the service only for lawful professional or business purposes. If you use Talerivo for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to act for it.

2. The service

Talerivo provides tools for managing clients, creating and sending invoices, generating PDFs and reports, publishing invoice payment pages and using optional payment integrations. Features may vary by country, plan and provider availability.

3. Accounts and security

• Provide accurate account and business information and keep it current.
• Keep credentials and public invoice links secure and do not allow unauthorised access.
• Notify us promptly if you suspect account misuse or a security incident.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

4. Invoices, tax and professional responsibility

Talerivo helps calculate totals and present VAT-related fields, but it is not a law firm, tax adviser or accounting service. You remain responsible for verifying invoice accuracy, tax treatment, numbering, required disclosures, record retention and filing obligations in every relevant country.

You are responsible for the goods or services described in your invoices and for disputes with your clients. Talerivo is not a party to transactions between you and an invoice recipient.

5. Client data and communications

You may enter client details and ask Talerivo to send invoices or reminders. You confirm that you have a lawful basis to use those details and send those communications. You must not use Talerivo for unsolicited marketing, spam, harassment or unlawful content.

6. Plans, trials and billing

Talerivo may offer a free plan with usage limits and paid plans with additional features. New accounts may receive a 14-day trial. The price, currency, taxes, billing interval, renewal and any payment-method requirement shown at checkout control your purchase.

Stripe processes paid subscriptions. You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal when available. Cancellation and access at the end of a billing period follow the information presented at checkout and in the portal. Refund rights follow applicable mandatory law and any terms displayed at checkout; contact support if you believe a charge is incorrect.

7. Payment features

Optional invoice checkout and Stripe Connect features are provided through Stripe and may require additional Stripe terms, verification and eligibility checks. Talerivo does not hold card details or Stripe identity documents. Payment availability, settlement, disputes, refunds and account restrictions may depend on Stripe and the financial institutions involved.

8. Acceptable use

• Do not break the law, infringe another person's rights or submit deceptive, fraudulent or harmful material.
• Do not probe, bypass or disrupt security, rate limits, authentication or access controls.
• Do not introduce malware, scrape the service at unreasonable volume or use it to send spam.
• Do not access another user's account, data or public invoice link without authorisation.

9. Your content

You retain rights in the business, client, invoice and branding content you submit. You give Talerivo a limited permission to host, process, reproduce and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and support the service and comply with law. You confirm that you have the rights needed to provide the content.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance, security events, provider failures and changes in law may affect features. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

11. Suspension and account closure

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate suspected abuse, comply with law or address a serious breach of these terms. You may request account closure through the contact email shown on this page. Data export, deletion and legally required retention are handled according to the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Talerivo is provided on an 'as available' basis without guarantees that it will meet every legal, tax, accounting or business requirement. You should keep independent copies of important records.

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost opportunity or loss caused by inaccurate user data, unlawful use, third-party services or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by another appropriate method. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms means acceptance where permitted by law.
